This is the privacy policy for the mobile app Fruit Monster Island ("The App"), published by the Icelandic company Rauðás Hugbúnaður ehf. ("The Company"). This page is used to inform visitors about our policies for the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information while using The App.

The App stores data on your device to remember your scores and preferences, which levels you've finished and how many stars you've collected. The App sends events to our servers to get aggregated statistics for gameplay, i.e. we may log how long it takes to finish a level, which monsters are used the most, and other gameplay decisions like that. This data is not saved with any identifier that could be linked to you, it is strictly used to better understand how users play the game.
We do not have access to your name, email address or any other personally identifiable information about you. If you email us for support (support@fruitmonsterisland.com) then we'll have your email address but we will only ever use it to reply to your emails, we will never use it for any other purpose and never share it with any 3rd parties.
Whenever you use our App, in a case of an error in The App we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. The purpose of this data collection is to fix technical issues with The App and to improve its performance.
The App uses advertising for monetization, and analytics to gather data around how The App is used, so that we can fix any issues and improve The App. For both of these we use Unity as our 3rd party service provider. The App is meant for all ages, including children, and so we do not show personalized ads. The ads you see in our app are not based on any information on you from outside The App, they are contextual, meaning they might be based on broadly where you are in the world and the game you are playing. The ads we show are always appropriate for children. This is something we've configured within Unity, not showing peronalized ads, and ads always being appropriate for children. Unity may still gather information like how often you've seen an ad and other information related to ad-serving. You can view Unity's own privacy policy here, but be aware that it is their overall privacy policy, also for games that use personalized advertising, so any mention of personalization in the Unity privacy policy is not relevant to us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
